Nearly P16 million worth of illegal drugs was seized in buy-bust operations in two towns in Bohol.
At past 5 p. m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, 32-year-old Guardson Binarao, a resident of San Isidro, Tagbilaran City, was first to be arrested in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Mayacabac in Dauis town.
Binarao yielded at least 2.1 kilograms grams of shabu worth P14, 600,000.
In a statement released by Dauis police in social media, Binarao was placed under surveillance.
“Gipaubos nila sa surveillance ang maong suspek sa kapin sa duha ka semana human nila madawat ang impormasyon sa iligal nga kalihukan. Daghan na mi’g info niya pero mga storya ra pero kadtong ganina naabtan jud nato,” said Lt. Thomas Zen Cheung, chief of Dauis police.
In Lila town, another Tagbilaran resident Gerard Garcia was arrested. Sachets of shabu were seized from the suspect worth P1 million.
