Miss Philippines Tourism 2019 Glyssa Perez is now planning to conquer the universe!
In an Instagram post on Thursday, February 17, the 26-year-old beauty queen announced that she had applied for the Miss Universe Australia 2022 pageant.
Glyssa Perez crowned the first ever Miss Tourism Philippines 2019 under the Miss World Philippines organization.
“I’ve always believe that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes we question ourselves with the WHAT IF? What if I tried? What if I didn’t?,” she wrote, adding the hashtags #missuniverseaustralia, #missuniverseNSW, #pinktankevents and #GodbetheGlory.

“If you have been following me for a while, you have seen my journey, and I am grateful for the experiences that I have gone through,” she said.
“Today, I am embarking on an exciting new chapter in my life. I don’t know what to expect, but I am grateful for this chapter and I’m going to give it my all. And, I want you to be part of it as well,” she added.
She continued, “2022 is going to be an exciting year! And, I’m excited to see the growth and impact that this year will bring. Follow me on my journey to the Miss Universe Australia 2022 crown.”
Perez who represenred Danao town was crowned Miss Bohol 2016. She joined the Miss World Philippines 2017 where she was declared 1st princess award (1st runner-up). She joined again in 2019 where she finally won a crown as the first Miss Philippines Tourism under the Miss World Philippines organization.
