Tagbilaran residents are vaccinated to prevent the spread of the virus.

Tagbilaran City’s Covid-19 vaccination drive is in full swing, with the city’s first five priority groups now eligible to receive vaccines against the disease.

Mayor Baba Yap announced on Monday that the vaccination is extended until tomorrow, June 22.

“Mag extend ta og one day (June 22) sa 5 ka mga vaccinations sites dinhe sa Tagbilaran. Mag dala lang ta og any Govt ID nga naay Tagbilaran City Address. Para ni sa A1, A2, A3, and A5,” Yap posted in his Facebook account.

“No need mo pili og brand sa vaccine kay parehas ra effective,” he added.

Tagbilaran has focused on vaccinating health workers (A1) since March 1, then opened vaccination to senior citizens (A2) last May 21-26 and June 17-21, and persons with comorbidities (A3) from June 19-21.

Yap said the individuals in the indigent sector (A5) will be accomodated on Tuesday, June 22, if supplies were enough.

All groups will be inoculated at vaccination sites – – Bool Elem School (Bool, Mansasa, and Poblacion 1); Tagbilaran Central School. (Pob 2 and Pob 3); Dao Elementary School. (Dao, TipTIp, San Isidro, Cabawan) ; Booy Covered Court (Booy, Taloto, Ubujan, Manga); and Tagbilaran City College (Dampas and Cogon).

Residents are advised to bring a government issued identification card.
