Authorities seized on Thursday around P81,600 worth of suspected illegal drugs and arrested three individuals in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bohol and the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested Karl Reygan M. Sulague, 39, a seaman; Carlo T. Bermejo, 45, a Social Amelioration Program (SAP) beneficiary, and his live-in partner, Cherna B. Sapong, 36, also a SAP beneficiary.

They were arrested at past 4 p.m. inside an inn in Barangay Dao.

Seized during the operation were three packs of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P81,600, buy-bust money, one cell phone, one sunglasses case, one lighter, and one motorcycle.

The suspects now face violations of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
