Two locally stranded individuals (LSIs) in Loay town will be charged on Monday for violating the Republic Act No. 11332 or the “Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act.”

These LSIs from Manila and Mindanao reportedly ‘sneak out’ from their quarantine facility at Tocdog Elementary School to buy cigarettes.

The incident happened at 1 p. m. on Friday, June 26, according to a post by One Loay, the official Facebook page of Loay town.

After buying cigarattes, they went back to their facility.

Owners of the sari-sari store where they bought cigarettes were also placed under home quarantine pending results of the rapid test.

Loay has 80 LSIs placed under six quarantine facilities in the town.

“Sa ubang mga LSI ug sa umaabot pang mga LSI, wa ta nagduwaduwa aning atong gihimo, SERYOSO ang atong lungsod ug dili mi magpanuko ug pag pasaka ug KASO batok kaninyo kon musupak mo sa atong lagda,” One Loay page said.
