A frontliner who served in the town of Panglao was killed in an accident on Saturday morning, June 27, 2020.
Police Staff Sergeant Alvin Lopoy of Dauis Police Station identified the fatality as Corporal Jaysniel Comamao, a resident of Sagbayan town.
In an initial investigation, Comamao was about to report on duty as a frontliner of Covid19 Pandemic/Security Augmentation of Panglao Police Station when his motorcycle crashed into an Isuzu elf truck
at the causeway area in Dauis town at past 11 a. m.
He was brought to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.
Comamao was a reservist and the Corps Commander of the Bohol Island State University (BISU) for school year 2017-2018.
“We, Pulis Panglao, were deeply saddened as we lost one of our dedicated frontliner brother, your legacy will remain as you had gone rendering service and giving comfort to the people amidst in this pandemic that we are suffering now. Our deepest condolence and prayer for the comfort of the whole family during this time of grief.
Our snappy salute! Thankyou for the help and service as frontliner of the Municipality of Panglao,” the Panglao Police Station posted on their Facebook account.
In a Facebook post, Captain Romar Labasbas, chief of the Panglao Police Station, condoled with the family.
” May you Rest in Peace brother!! Our snappy salute!! Thankyou for the help and service as frontliner of the Municipality of Panglao . Condolence to the family,” Labasbas said.
