The Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) on Wednesday fielded 24 police officers to augment enforcers of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Cebu City.
Police Colonel Joselito Clarito, officer in charge of BPPO, personally send – off the police officers.
Clarito said the health services of police regional offices made sure that all personnel underwent health protocols before leaving for Cebu City.
Cebu City was again placed under ECQ starting June 16 until June 30 after the government recorded an alarming rate of coronavirus disease infections in the area.
As of Wednesday, Cebu City posted 3,814 COVID-19 cases with 1,924 recoveries.
