A Boholano policeman assigned in Cebu City was shot during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday evening.
Police Master Sergeant Maximino “Max” Macua Jr., a member of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) in Central Visayas was shot during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Tabada, Barangay Mambaling at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
Patrolman Prince Arellano, who is also a member of the PDEG-7, said Macua was rushed to a private hospital but he succumbed to the injuries and died.
Macua is from Loon town.
