A nine-year-old girl who had a seizure while her family was on vacation was immediately transported from Sumilon Island back to mainland Oslob town in southern Cebu on Monday morning.

In a report furnished by the Philippine Coast Guard in Central Visayas, they named the young girl as Monique Gem Pardico, a resident of Lapu-Lapu City.

Coast Guard Sumilon Baywatch personnel facilitated the transfer onboard their vessel AB-092.

Coast Guard Sumilon Rescue Team also facilitated and ensured the safe transfer of Pardico to the Oslob District Hospital.

According to the report, the young girl recovered and was brought back by her family to Cebu City for further medication.
