Police arrested two men in a buy-bust operation in Panglao town on Saturday and seized from them sachets of suspected shabu worth P13,600.

Police Patrolman Philbert Amante of Panglao Police Station identified the suspects as Ruel Bernaniza, alias Bayot, 32, a resident of Barangay Tabalong and Elben Trago, 26, a resident of Barangay Totolan, in Dauis town.

Police said Bernaniza was included in the drug watchlist.

An undercover police officer bought shabu from the suspects at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 24 in Sitio Binlod in Barangay Looc, Panglao.

Seized from Bernaniza were six small sachets of suspected shabu, an unregistered .357 revolver with one live ammunition, and P1,000 marked money, while three small sachets of shabu were seized from Trago.

The suspects were detained at the Panglao police pending the filing of a case against them for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Firearms and Ammunitions Law.
