The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Bohol on Thursday morning ordered the suspension of sea travel via motorbanca in Ubay town due to gale warning intensified by Tropical Depression Ineng.

The temporary suspension of voyage for all type of vessels/watercrafts below 250 gross tonnage was due to unfavorable weather condition, according Lt. Patrick John Cabasag, commander of CGS Bohol.

The motorbancas which cancelled their trips include Motorbanca San Isidro and Motorbanca Leopards.

These were all coming from Ubay and were bound for Bato and Hilongos in Leyte province.

Ocean Jet also cancelled its trips on Thursday from Tagbilaran to Dumaguete at 12:10 p.m. and
Dumaguete to Tagbilaran at 2:30 p.m. due to big waves.

Cancelled trips as of 1 p.m on August 22, 2019:

MBCA Junmar 2 From Pilar port bound for Ormoc City leyte, sked of departure 0700H, stranded passengers- None

MBCA Apekop Oslob to panglao, BOHOL SKED 0800H
Stranded passengers

1. Mbca san isidro. Ubay to Bato, Leyte 0830H
2. Mbca leopards ubay to Hilongos, Leyte. 0900H with no stranded passenger
