
Two brothers were killed when their motorcycle slammed into a car at Dagohoy town in Bohol province Monday afternoon , police said.
Police Staff Sergeant Jerry Pacanza of Dagohoy police station said Jess Cañada, 26, was driving the motorcycle with his brother Edward Cañada, 41, as his passenger when they collided head-on with a Loon bound Toyota Vios along the national highway in Sitio Curvada in Barangay (village) San Vicente in Dagohoy town at around 1:31 in the afternoon on Monday, August 19.
Pacanza said the collision occured on a “blind spot” while it was drizzling.
The Cañada brothers died on the spot after sustaining serious injuries.
According to Pacanza, it was only Jess who was wearing crash helmet when they were thrown off the motorcycle.
The Dagohoy police has taken the car driver, later identified as Cesar Barotil, 59, under custody for investigation.
