Barely three days to go, new queens will be named and crowned as Mutya Pilipinas 2019.
The 40 candidates will vie for the Mutya Pilipinas 2019 including Sandra Jele, who represents Tagbilaran City.
Now in its 51st year, the Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant has been rebranded Mutya Pilipinas (minus the “ng”) which is, according to Cory Quirino, the newly-installed Mutya president, “Phonetically, the new name flows more smoothly as pronounced.”
The pageant night is on Aug. 18 at SM MOA Arena at 7 p.m.
The winner will automatically represent our country in Miss Asia Pacific in October this year.
