Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell “Baba” Yap II has appointed Tuesday, Aug. 13, Cathelyn Ontong-Torremocha, as the new city administrator of Tagbilaran.
Yap on his Facebook post on Tuesday , August 13, said Torremocha “will assume her new post as City Administrator of Tagbilaran City effective today.”
Torremocha who was former head of the City Human Resource Management Office replaced Leonides Borja who took an indefinite leave after his son was arrested by authorities for allegedly selling party drugs.
Torremocha, a certified public account, is the daughter of Primitiva Ontong, a former provincial treasurer and now city consultant on fiscal matters.
