For the fifth straight day, the state weather bureau Pagasa issued a gale warning due to the strong winds brought about by the southwest monsoon, prompting the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)- Central Visayas Division to temporarily suspend sea trips.

According to Pagasa, the waves in the Central and Eastern seaboard of the Visayas can reach up to 2.8 to 4.8 meters.

2Go and OceanJet have cancelled its afternoon trips to Cebu.

Although Tropical Storm Hanna has no direct effect to Bohol and the rest of the Visayas, the southwest monsoon (Habagat) will bring strong winds and isolated rain showers.
