Bohol beauty queen Glyssa Perez is once again setting her sights on the Miss World Philippines crown.
Perez, Miss Bohol 2016 and Miss World Philippines 2017 First Princess, is set to compete once again in Miss World Philippines, which sends representatives to Miss World.
Perez’s friends and fans have been sharing messages of support on Facebook and Instagram Stories on Sunday, Aug. 4.
The beauty queen made the confirmation by posting the information on her account.
“It’s official Glyssa is now an official candidate for this years (sic) Miss World Philippines 2019 proudly representing the Province of Bohol,” she said on Sunday, Aug. 4.
“This is it claiming the Miss World Philippines 2019 crown 👸🏽🌍🇵🇭,” she added.
Even though Perez finished First Princess at the 2017 Miss World Philippines beauty contest, but she is not ready to give up her dreams on pageants.
In an earlier report, she said the Miss World is the best platform for her advocacies.
“Miss World as beauty with a purpose, something that you can give back to the community,” said Perez whose mother hails from Danao town in Bohol.
Perez, who grew up in Syndey, Australia, and former beauty queen-turned-actress Maxine Medina are first cousins.
