Beauty queen Pauline Amelinckx felt nostalgic when she was hosting last Saturday’s Miss Bohol 2019.

“I’m grateful to the Miss Bohol Organization to have been given the opportunity to be one of the Hosts for this year’s pageant. I had a great time with my 2 co-hosts hihi,” she said.

The other hosts were Miss Bohol 2014 Queenie Melody Fullante and Cebu’s Jonathan OJ Cimafranca.

She said “it brought back a lot of fond memories, being on such a familiar stage.”

Pauline’s fans and supporters also felt nostalgic when they saw her on stage.

“She’s still as radiant as before, and we can’t help but admire her most,” said beauty pageant enthusiast Glenn Cimafranca said on Facebook.

Pauline was crowned Miss Bohol 2017 with Miss Philippines- Universe 2019 Gazini Ganados as her first runner-up.

After Miss Bohol, Pauline joined Mutya ng Pilipinas and she was crowned Miss Global Beauty Queen Philippines 2018. She will represent the country in Miss Global Queen tilt.

She said the pageant helped her to grow and bloom.

“The people I was able to meet and the people I got closer to are now irreplaceable and I am thankful for having them in my life now,” she said.

She said some people think pageantry is superficial.

“It’s not. With the right attitude, you can allow any experience to mold you into a better you, if only you are open to self-improvement and personal development,” the beauty queen from Tubigon town said.

She said this year’s Miss Bohol batch had a bunch of fine ladies who all brought pride and honor to their municipalities and sponsors.

“I hope this experience was as life-changing for them as it was for me,” she said.

Miss Tagbilaran Celina Villoceno was crowned Miss Bohol 2019.
