At the 4th State of the Nation (Sona) of President Rodrigo Duterte, everyone seemed to be on their best appearance.

As we officially welcome the 18th Congress of the Philippines, let’s look at these fashion moments, shall we?
Bohol congressmen Edgar Chatto and Erico Aristotle Aumentado wore piña barong for the opening of the 18th Congress on Monday.

While Congresswoman Alexie Tutor was stunning in her tangerine and yellow green Asian inspired mandarin collar dress during the opening of the session.
She later changed to hand-embroidered lace off shoulder dress during the President’s Sona.

Aumentado’s wife, Maria Vanessa, joined the event by wearing a bronze Filipiniana designed by Boholano fashion icon and couturier Ej Relampagos.
Vanessa’s fabulous bag was customized by Boholana accessory designer Christine Virtucio.

Vanessa was featured by GMA News online as number 19 out of 45 SONA 2019’s most fashionable women.

Chatto’s wife, Balilihan Mayor Pureza Chatto, wore an aquablue Filipiniana-inspired gown for the SONA. It was simple yet elegant with no heavy beading.

There were also other local officials from Bohol who were invited to attend the Sona.

Panglao Mayor Leonila Montero attended the President’s Sona in a teal green Filipiana gown with floral appliques on one sleeve.

She came with Garcia Hernandez Mayor Tita Baja Gallentes donned an olive green Filipiniana gown.

Tagbilaran’s First Lady Jane Censoria Cajes-Yap was wearing a royal blue Filipiniana gown.
Dauis Mayor Marietta Sumaylo was seen wearing a hot red V-neck fitted midi dress.
