Many passengers have their tickets refunded after seatrips  from Tagbilaran to Cebu City were cancelled by fastcrafts on Tuesday.

Passenger Cedrick Gamayon, 29, had his ticket refunded at  4 p.m. on Tuesday after fatcrafts had cancelled their trips from Tagbilaran to Cebu.

Gamayon had no choice but to take the 12 midnight trip of Lite Shipping.

As of 5 p.m., there were only 15 stranded passengers at the Tagbilaran Port, according to SN2 Rolly Labaja Jr of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Tagbilaran.

There were 110 stranded passengers at 12 noon Tuesday but they went home after the  fastcrafts cancelled their trips.

There was no storm signal in Central Visayas but the cancellations were made upon the discretion of the vessels’ skippers  due to strong waves.
