Several classes were suspended in Siquijor and neighboring province of Negros Oriental.

As early as 7:57 a.m. on Tuesday, the provincial government of Siquijor has announced its provincewide cancelation of classes.

The suspension order was due to the presence of Southwest monsoon that’s bringing rain and strong winds there, according to its Siquijor Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).

This covers students from Pre-school to Secondary Level.

Meanwhile in Negros Oriental, announcement of suspension of classes were made at past 11a.m. this morning.
