There are now a total of 67 stranded passengers in the ports in Ubay, Bohol and Cordova town, Cebu.
This is the latest update from the Philippine Coast Guard in Central Visayas (PCG-7), as of 7:35a.m.
According to Lt. Jr. Grade Michael John Encina, PCG-7 spokesman, motorbanca Sunriser that was supposed to ferry 37 passengers was the latest to cancel its trips this morning.
This was bound for Getafe town in Bohol province.
Encina cited “unfavorable weather condition” as the reason.
Earlier, three motorbancas also cancelled its trips in Ubay bound for Bato port in Leyte province.
Gale warning was hoisted since yesterday in the Eastern Visayas sea board. //
