Police have identified the man killed in a shooting in Tagbilaran City, on Monday morning.
Tagbilaran City Police said the 40-year-old Ryan Sigue, a resident of Barangay Bool in Tagbilaran City was killed in an “ambush-style” attack around 12:30 a.m. Monday, July 15.
Sigue operated a cockpit arena in Dauis town.
Tagbilaran police were called for reports of shots fired at an address on Purok 4 in Barangay Booy.
That’s where they found a man with gunshot wounds.
Initial investigation revealed that the Mitsubishi Xpander driven by the victim was chased by a white van and fired it several times.

The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the head and body causing his instantaneous death.
Personnel of the Scene of The Crime Operatives (Soco) found some 116 empty shells of M16 were found at the scene.
Residents told police they thought they heard fireworks during the incident.
The police said they are still conducting follow-up operation for the identification and possible arrest of the shooters.
