A fire broke out at Cogon public market in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on Wednesday afternoon, July 10.
Acting City fire marshal Marlyn Macatangay told reporters that at least 80 stalls inside a building of the market were destroyed in the fire that arson investigators have investigated.
The blaze started at around 1 p.m.
According to vendors, the fire originated at the second floor of a store which sold bananas and jackfruits located in the dry goods section of the market.
Firefighters were able to put the fire under control at around 1:50 p.m.
No casualties have been reported.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
