Bohol will continue to experience rain and thunderstorms during the weekend because of the presence of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) that’s affecting the weather system in the Visayas.

The LPA, based on the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) latest advisory is already 180 kilometers west northwest of Zamboanga City in Zamboanga del Sur as of 3p.m. on Friday.

Pagasa also recorded local thunderstorms will bring isolated rainshowers.

As early as 12:18 a.m. on Friday, Tagbilaran City experienced heavy downpour.

This caused flooding in some areas in the city.

It forecasted moderate to heavy rainshowers accompanied by lightning and strong winds due to localized thunderstorms over Tagbilaran City and Baclayon town.

So if you’re planning to go out during the weekend, make sure you keep yourself dry by bringing an umbrella or a raincoat. //
