
A magnitude 5.9 earthquake was recorded off the coast in Lila, Bohol at 12:59a.m. this morning.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) issued an advisory indicating that the origin of the shaking was tectonic and its epicenter was 41 kilometers east of Lila with a depth of 551 kilometers.
An Intensity I shaking was also felt in Borongan City, Eastern Samar.
However, there were no damages yet due to this, as of this writing. //
