A former drug inmate was arrested on Monday evening in a buy-bust operation by the Panglao Police Drug Enforcement Unit.

The operation led by Police Capt. Neon Francis Alvarez, the station chief of Panglao Police Station, apprehended Molly Arancon.

The 36-year-old Arancon is also considered by the PNP as a “high-value target” there.

Recovered from him were two sachets containing alleged “shabu”, which has an estimated value of P1,000, and two P500 bills used as marked money during the operation.

According to Capt. Alvarez, they have been monitoring the activities of Arancon.

He was released from jail after he availed of the Plea Bargaining Agreement.

The suspect is now detained at the Panglao Police Station detention facility. //
