At least P4.4 million worth of marijuana were seized and uprooted in a far flung area in the town of Balamban, Cebu.
The Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency (PDEA-7 together with PNP and AFP raided an area in Barangay Tungkay, Toledo City where they uprooted fully grown marijuana plants.

The operating team uprooted approximately 11,000 fully grown marijuana plants, with an estimated market value of P4.4 million.
Three cultivators were able to elude arrest when they sensed the team approaching the uphill terrain.
